The Municipality of Chinhoyi hereby notifies residents, stakeholders, investors, and the general public that, in terms of Section 152 (2) of the Urban Councils Act [Chapter 29:15], Council intends to proceed with the proposed disposal of selected municipal land within Chinhoyi.

This initiative is aimed at promoting structured urban growth, expanding residential opportunities, and supporting commercial development in line with the Municipality’s vision of becoming a Smart City of Choice by 2030.

🏢 Commercial Stand – Chinhoyi Township Lands

  • Stand Number: 19857
  • Use: Commercial
  • Size: 549m²
  • Beneficiary: Matthew Dabvu
  • Method of Disposal: Way of Resolution

The proposed commercial stand presents an opportunity to strengthen business activity and economic development within the municipality.

🏘️ High-Density Residential Stands – Brundish

  • Quantity: 54 Residential Stands
  • Size: 300m² each
  • Method of Disposal: First Come, First Serve Basis

These residential stands are part of Council’s efforts to improve access to housing and accommodate the town’s growing population.

📄 Public Inspection & Objections

Copies of Council resolutions and conditions governing the proposed disposals are available for inspection during normal working hours at the office of the Director of Housing and Community Services.

Any person wishing to object to the proposals may submit written objections to the undersigned within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
